Church meetings

• Baptist churches, such as ours, hold regular church members’ meetings
• Church meetings are the ultimate governing body of the church
• At church meetings we make decisions on our short, medium and long term plans
• Church meetings are where we decide together whether to approve an application for membership
• In our church meetings we believe that we are trying to “discern the mind of Christ”, ie make good decisions based on what Jesus might do.
